Guinness book of world record.........10000 coffee cups with different milk proportions used to make picture of Sachin Tendulkar

Sachin's new Record now off the field.....

The Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar who’s often termed as ‘GOD’ by his fans & admirers, got his name associated with yet another world record. However this record had nothing to do with his on-field performance or even his direct involvement!

On 5 July 2014, The Navi Mumbaikars witnessed an art beyond imagination which got marked in ‘Guinness Book Of World Record’. The amazing art – “largest coffee cup mosaic” which used around 10,000 coffee cups, was to portray the Cricketing GOD “Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar” !

This larger than life mosaic was created by “Limnesh Augustine” – is a world-renowned artist, famous for his 3D anamorphic paintings.

Augustine created this wonderful mosaic at Inorbit mall which is located near Vashi Railway Station. He, along with his team of artists called D Brain Enclave and inorbit mall worked together to create the 6×9.5 portrait of Sachin Tendulkar.

They used only coffee cups filled with a variable mix of milk and coffee to form the multi-shaded mosaic pattern. The team started making this portrait early in the morning from 6:00 and finished at evening 5:30.
