Interesting facts emerging about McDonald's in India..................112813

Interesting facts emerging wrt McDonald's in India, and the company selling burgers and working as McDonalds India Pvt Ltd, (MIPL) makes one wonder - who is the clown? As of now, it seems that the Indian taxpayer and customer has been made a monkey of by the clown?

1. McDonald Corporation in the US (McD) the parent listed company owns 1 share in MIPL.

2. The other millions of shares are owned by an unknown company called "McDonald's International Branch Holdings" (McIBH)

3. Indian Govt permissions were given to McD and MIPL initially. Then these government permissions were ransferred by the IndGovt from McD to McIBH in one of the vaguest government letters I have seen in a while - viz, no address of McIBH, no idea of who owns McIBH, nothing.

4. However, royalties on India operations are transferred from MIPL to McD. Interesting, own 1 share, get huge royalties.

5. As a result of the above, MIPL declares huge losses, don't pay any taxes on profits.

6. Meanwhile, who owns McIBH is not known even on McD's own filings with SEC or the other authorities in the US.

7. Why and how the Government of India gave authorities and permissions to an unknown company called McIBH to operate restaurants in India with the brand name "McDonalds" is unknown, but now enters yet another unrelated company called "McDonalds Restaurant Operations Inc" (McDRO) which sold shares to McIBH but only wrt the India operations.

8. On querying McD Corpn USA, the parent listed company, the response is in toto after going through pages of responses, that they don't have ANYTHING to do with McDRO and/or McIBH. That's what McD Corpn USA tells SEC too.

So, question arises, WHO is the Indian Government dealing with when interacting with "McDonalds" (And the issue of Mac and/or McD comes in here too . . . ) and WHAT is that clown doing there?

BIGGER QUESTION IS: WHO GETS THE MONEY TRANSFERRED TO McIBH? IS IT A CASE OF BIGGER CORRUPTION WHEREIN McD HAS BEEN GIVEN LICENCES TO OPERATE IN INDIA AGAINST SOMEONE GETTING HIS / HER "CUTS" OUTSIDE INDIA?
